Just Passing Through

I have driven past this old gas station to many times to count while on my way to other adventures.  I have seen it open for business years ago providing gas and cold drinks to those in need.  Established in the late 1800's, the towns peak population of 60 was reached in the early 20th century.  When US HWY 20 was built in the 1930's, Millcan was moved to be next to the highway.  The town's population was down to just two people in 1988 when the gas station owner was murdered by a parolee who worked for him, this made the population zero.  The town has been bought and sold a few times since then and now sits empty.
